Vegas isn't all about the strip. It's also about tasty food found in unexpected places. Take Violette's Vegan Eatery, for example. Just 15 minutes away from the strip, it feels like a peaceful sanctuary, with a menu filled with comfort food items like Country Biscuits and Gravy, and—of course!—kombucha.

"The Philly" is definitely their stand-out dish. It replicates the flavors of a Philly Cheese Steak sandwich, except the steak here is made out of seitan, and the cheese is nut-based. Another must-have is their baked mac & cheeze. It was definitely one of the best mac & cheeze's we've ever tried. Gooey, melty, with a nice crust on top!
